TIM STEVENS received his BA in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 1967. He minored in Sociology. He received his Master's degree in Urban and regional Planning, specializing in Community Policy Development and Urban Renewal Administration from the University of Pittsburgh in 1974.

TIM STEVENS has served as church organist and choir director at Trinity A.M.E. Church in Pittsburgh since October, 1972

TIM STEVENS served as a panelist on KDKA-TV's 'Channel To Pittsburgh,' an issue oriented talk program. He also served as host on KQV's live Sunday night talk show 'Everybody Knows.'

TIM STEVENS has received various community awards over the years including: The Sears 'He's a Black Man' Award in 1973; selected as one of the 'Outstanding Young Men of America' in 1973; and selected as 'One of the Nation's Most Outstanding Professionals in Human Relations' in 1973. He has been jazz editor for Pittsburgh Magazine since 1994.

Tin Stevens has appeared on the Mike Douglas show (1972) and has starred in four local television specials. WQED=TV in 1969, WIIC-TV in 1972, KDKA-TV in 1976, and Warner Cable Television in 1982

TIM STEVENS has appeared in numerous clubs and concerts throughout the metropolitan Pittsburgh area and has performed at THE THREE RIVERS ARTS FESTIVAL, THREE RIVERS STADIUM, HEINZ HALL, SYRIA MOSQUE, SOLDIERS AND SAILORS MEMORIAL HALL, and THE STANLEY THEATRE (now known as The Benedum Center),

Along with the "GOT TO BE FREE" album and the "THINKING; ABOUT LOVE" album, Tim has released some ten singles since 1972 to the critical acclaim of area writers and radio executives.

TIM STEVENS has written some seventy-five compositions. NANCY WILSON took Tim's song writing ability to a national and world-wide audience when she recorded his "THE SADNESS IN MY EYES" composition on her "TAKE MY LOVE" album released in March, 1980 on CAPITOL RECORDS.
